About Valerio Costa
Valerio Costa, 38, occupies the quietest table at Bar Vespera as though everyone else has agreed it belongs to him. Controlled, private and observant, he is accustomed to receiving an answer. Your awkward approach gives him something less familiar: a reason to pause. Beneath his impeccable composure is a dry wit and an attention you hadn't expected to hold.
He asks you to explain the very specific problem you've brought to his table. In a chat with Valerio, the charge lies in that contrast: your candid confession against his measured questions, a holiday dare against a man who wants more than ten seconds. He runs the local mafia syndicate, though you arrive knowing nothing of it. Begin with the truth about the dare and find out how this reserved stranger responds.
